Donna Sparks

Donna Sparks is an Assemblies of God minister who travels widely to speak at women's conferences and retreats. She also holds evangelistic meetings in churches and still finds time to maintain a vibrant jail ministry to women. She founded "Story of Grace Ministry" in 2014.

With an intense desire to see the lost come to Christ, Donna boldly shares the unchanging truth of God's Word and often tells how God rescued her from a destructive past.  She engages others by sharing how God has proven himself faithful to her, and she encourages everyone to believe that God will do the same for them.

The Masquerade: Deception in the Last Days

In The Masquerade: Deception in the Last Days, Donna Sparks addresses the deception that abounds in the world today as Satan continues his masquerade as an angel of light. But while he may be the king of deception, he is not alone in marketing falsehood and deceiving multitudes with lies and twisted beliefs. Jesus warned His disciples to not allow themselves to be deceived. And Paul warned Timothy to stay away from people who welcome, live in, and teach deception. Deceptive teachings lead only to trouble and sorrow. But the Truth will reveal and deliver us from them. Join author and evangelist, Donna Sparks, as she takes up the important task of exposing deception and removing the masks from lies masquerading as truth.

God is calling for watchmen on the wall, who will see the enemy coming and sound the alarm. I believe Donna Sparks is one of those watchers. In The Masquerade, Donna addresses specific and important issues that threaten the Church today—cessationism, division, spiritual counterfeits, identity crisis, and more. Donna’s boldness and clarity are exactly what we need today.

Beauty from Ashes: My Story of Grace

Beauty from Ashes: My Story of Grace was published in 2018 by Bridge-Logos. In this book Donna Sparks uses her experiences to illustrate how God brought beauty from her failures, tragedies, and disappointments. In Beauty from Ashes, Donna speaks honestly and powerfully of how God reached down in His mercy to rescue her from a life of rebellion and self destruction. And she reveals how she was taught by the Holy Spirit and led into ministry.

There are not many who can use the art of story to unearth truth as profoundly as this book's author has done. It was like discovering treasure as I opened every chapter and considered the wisdom recorded on each page.

Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson, Co-host of The 700 Club Canada

God intends our lives to be beautiful and fruitful. But decisions we make, or decisions made by others, can turn a thing of beauty into an ash heap. In this book Donna Sparks encourages its readers to allow God to exchange the ashes that are in their lives for the beauty that God has in store for them.

No Limits: Embracing the Miraculous

No Limits: Embracing the Miraculous

In Donna Sparks' second book, No Limits: Embracing the Miraculous, published in 2019, she uses contemporary testimonies of powerful miracles released into the lives of believers and non-believers alike to show God has not changed. He has worked miracles in the past, and there are no limits on his ability to work miracles today.

Donna writes with clarity, and I love her illustrations. The term "miracles" is often used and hyped by people in an exaggerated way, but Donna shares that true miracles are real and within the reach of anyone. She has lived out a no limits lifestyle herself, and she is helping others do the same.
