The Person of God

We believe in the one true God of the Bible as revealed to us in the triune existence of God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

God Our Creator

We believe that God is the architect and Creator of the Universe; that God created the earth, all life, and its bounty; that He prepared the earth as a perfect habitation for mankind—the crowning act of His creation; and that God set mankind over the earth to care for and rule over it.

The Original Fall of Man

We believe that disobedience to God caused mankind to fall from grace and brought separation between them and their Creator.

The Enemies of Our Souls

We believe that Satan, the devil—originally a mighty, exalted, and good, angelic creature made by God—rebelled against God and fell from God's grace; that the devil made himself an enemy of God to oppose Him and all His work; that the devil conspired to tempt mankind to sin in the beginning to disrupt God's plans for us; that from the beginning the devil and his followers have opposed God and His kingdom; that Satan is like a roaring lion, roaming about seeking to cheat, steal from, and devour all mankind and everything that is good in the world that God made; that in order to deceive and destroy, the devil appears to many as an angel of light but ultimately reveals himself as a liar and the king of darkness; and that he and his minions are the enemies of our souls.

Universality of Sin

We believe that from the time of the original fall of man, all who have been born into the world have inherited a sinful nature; and we believe that all are lost and in need of a savior who can forgive and deliver us from lives of disobedience and rebellion.

God's Plan of Salvation

We believe in God's continuing interest and activity in His creation; that God's intentions toward mankind have always been and continue to be redemptive and good; that God has revealed and established His plan for our redemption and the forgiveness of our sins through only the person and acts of Jesus Christ—the only begotten Son of God, the Light of the World, the Living Word, God made flesh; and that God's plan to provide for our salvation was fulfilled when Jesus shed His blood and gave His life on the Cross as the final and sufficient sacrifice for our sins.

The Forgiveness of All Who Repent and Call on Him

We believe that even though we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, all who repent of their sins, call upon God to forgive them, and trust in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and His shed blood to redeem them, will be saved—born again to new life—and thereby have their relationship with the Creator restored.

The Holy Spirit, His Mission, and His Empowerment

We believe that the Holy Spirit has always been active in the world to reveal God and His plans to mankind; that the Holy Spirit actively leads people to repent and seals all believers in the Christian faith upon acceptance of Christ as their personal Savior; that after accepting Christ as their Savior, the Holy Spirit continues to work in the lives of all Believers to guide their discipleship; and that just as it was important for the early Church to receive empowerment from the Holy Spirit to perform their work of evangelism and discipleship, it is just as important for Christians today to seek after and receive the same empowerment.

The Holy Spirit's Gifts and Continuing Work of Christ

We believe that the Holy Spirit has always desired to impart spiritual gifts of empowerment, knowledge, and wisdom, and that He has employed them in and through the works and ministry of God and His people regardless of epoch or any idea or teaching of dispensations; that the gifts and activities of the Holy Spirit have been demonstrated or employed through Believers in various manners and magnitudes since the beginning of time; that it is God's continuing plan and intention to impart to Believers in the Church the Gifts of the Holy Spirit to be used in God's continuing work through the Church; and that it is up to Believers to pray for, seek after, and receive those gifts for the benefit of all people and for the furtherance of the Kingdom of God.

The Power of God

We believe in the power of God and that God is unlimited by man's conceptions; that God alone is the supreme judge of the Universe, and, because of that, His laws and precepts are preeminent in the world; that in bringing judgment and justice, God has the power to both lift up and bring down, and to both heal and destroy; that in grace He saves the worst of sinners, but in judgment He ultimately will cast out from His presence all who oppose Him and His work; and that God has never divested himself of any powers that He has ever held or demonstrated—if God has ever demonstrated His power to rule, judge, heal, forgive, set free, empower, perform miracles, or do anything else that has defined His person and intentions in the past, He is more than capable of doing the same things today.

The Resurrection

We believe that Jesus was crucified and placed dead in the tomb; that God raised Him from the dead on the third day; that He was resurrected not only to bear witness to God's acceptance of Christ's final sacrifice for sin but also to become the first fruit and promise of our own resurrection; that all Believers who have died in the Faith will, like Christ, one day be resurrected to new life to be forever with the Lord; and that at the end all unbelievers will also be resurrected to be judged and cast out from God's presence forever.

The Rapture of the Church

We believe that at a time appointed and known only to God, the dead in Christ shall be resurrected; that they together with all living Believers will then suddenly be taken out of the world to meet Jesus in the air prior to a time of great wrath when God pours out upon the world His acts of judgment; and that this event, called the Rapture, is the great hope of the Church.

The Second Coming of Christ

We believe that after a period of God's judgment and great turmoil on earth, Jesus Christ will physically and victoriously return to earth to conquer all His enemies and set up a kingdom on earth over which He alone will rule and reign.

The Final Judgment

We believe that after a long period of great prosperity and peace on earth during Christ's physical reign, God will allow Satan to once again tempt mankind and test the loyalty of all people toward God; that God will then finally and completely destroy all who oppose His rule; that all the dead previously not resurrected (those not resurrected during the Rapture)—including unbelievers—will be raised from the dead; that all will then stand before Christ and be judged; and that all whose names are not found written in the Lord's Book of Life will be cast into the Lake of Fire along with the devil and his minions.

A New Heaven and Earth

We believe that at the end, the old heaven and earth will pass away; that God will create a new heaven and earth; that the New Jerusalem will descend from God upon the new earth; that all things will be restored; that sin will be no more; and that God will rule among His people in peace forever in that time when there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.
